Welcome Home Elder Terry!

After 2 years...Kameron has returned from his mission to Calgary, Canada. We had the big tearful welcome complete with balloons and signs made my his nieces and nephew. Wow, what a rush! Following the airport, we met with President Bangerter for his release. It was a neat meeting to sit and listen to Kam give a brief report of his mission to the Stake President. President Bangerter had some awesome things to say as well. I must say, it was alot more spirtual than I thought it would be. Then we took him home for his favorite dinner and dessert with the whole family. Now, we are transitioning him back into regular life...HaHaHa!

Wheels Up!

I mentioned the other day to someone that we had waited 2 years to go to the airport to see our son come off the plane having completed his mission but, I think we have really waited 21 years for this day. We have confirmed that he is in the air and we are all floating off the ground a little too! Check back for more pics of the event!

Butch Cassidy 5k

On Saturday Nov 1, Jana and Aubrey participated in the Butch Cassidy 5k run/walk. They went from the town of Springdale to the ghost town of Grafton. It was a beautiful morning for a walk and they did very well. They finished in under 60 minutes and Jana won a medal for second place in her division!

Is it a Trick or a Treat?

Halloween...we used to love the rush of getting costumes ready, carving pumpkins, and going trick or treating. It always seemed like so much fun because the kids loved it so much. The kids are older now and we can stay home on Halloween and pass out treats to the kids in the neighborhood. We also get to stay home and let everyone else bring their kids to our house. It us still fun but, alot less stress!

What do you do on a beautiful fall weekend in St. George? Well, when your nest is almost empty...you look for opportunities to spend time together doing the things you love. On Saturday, we played golf early in the morning. The weather was perfect, the course was fabulbulos but, doing it togehter makes it perfect!

Still counting down...

For those of you who are wondering if we have a life outside of waiting for Kam to finish his mission...the answer is yes but, our preparations are taking up most of our time. He will stop at the Stake President's office on the way home from the airport and then it's home for his favorite meal...chicken pillows! Kam will be speaking in our ward on November 9th at 1:00pm...hope to see you there!
